CogEval 1.4.2

CogEval is an iPad-based assessment tool designed to objectively evaluate cognitive function in patients with multiple sclerosis (MS). It administers a brief two-minute Processing Speed Test (PST) that measures attention, psychomotor speed, visual processing, and working memory. The instrument is validated against the well-established Symbol Digit Modalities Test (SDMT), ensuring its clinical relevance. During the assessment, patients are tasked with pairing abstract symbols with numbers using a provided key; upon completion, healthcare professionals receive a detailed summary and normed data for review.

Intended exclusively for clinical use, CogEval is accessible solely to healthcare providers responsible for the management of MS patients. The application resets automatically after each session, and no patient data or test results are stored within the app, preserving confidentiality and data security.

Supported devices include iPads from the 5th generation onward with a minimum screen size of 9.7 inches (24.6 cm) running iOS 13 or newer. Please note that iPad Minis are not compatible with this application.
